I'm Hugo. I run Mentat Technology Services as an independent builder of websites, AI applications and CMS-powered sites. My previous work spans interactive data explorers, informational landing pages, viral online puzzles and enterprise SaaS platforms.
I have built a fair amount on content management platforms, including WordPress: themes, editorial workflows and other important setup that enables non-technical teams to update content on their websites.
I am a specialist at building AI applications including products driven by agentic AI, computer vision & classical machine learning regression/classification methods.
I place an emphasis on building interfaces that are equally impressive on mobile as they are on a desktop display. I accomplish this through careful choice of UI design patterns and meticulous attention to component scaling.
